I am sorry to say this but it isn't good enough, hopefully they will perform better next game.This first games especially when you have new players are extremely importamt cause you want to send a strong message to your rivals that they are going to come against a very terrifying team of players. I blame the coach this time, you can't start with Busquets or Alba, start with hungry players and when necessary introduce your regular old players.

It was quite ridiculous — literally the right flank was empty — Rayo was non-existent there, yet it just was not utilized — if they used it, they would have won 3:0 at least…

if franky de jong left Barcelona I am very disappointed by xavi, because this old players is the downfall of the club. xavi love to defend his own Spanish players. I am lamenting this season xavi will be Barcelona coach again.

Is it only me that sees no difference to this from last season in the way we played… there's a reason Madrid is above us which is experience why will you start gavi and pedri when you have experienced midfielders at your disposal and why rahinha at the left wing never saw him there at EPL… xavi I like him a lot but the way he is managing this squad looks like an average coach!

We lost Cucurella because of so much dependence in alba and up till now we have not been able to solve that problem. I will also be disappointed in signing silva and losing FDJ. This guy has the passion to play here

Pin this awful performance on Xavi. Frenkie needs to start, not be traded. Dembélé didn't deliver, who doesn't hustle if he doesn't feel like it. Sergio is not what he used to be. An awful referee to top it off … Lewandowski will deliver. See who's on the pitch next game, with Sergio out. Hopefully we'll pick up the pace.
It wasn't the ideal start I'd say but I do agree with you that there was some clear indication of nerves for some of the players. Frenkie really made an impact in the game but by himself, it would have been difficult to totally change the game in our favor. Let's wait until the team chemistry builds and we'll see the real #ForcaBarca we know that we can be this season.
To be honest Xavi costed us…. Arujo should not be playing as a RB in games like that one, this game needed Dest and Frenkie

There past success was great. WAS. It’s a shame b/c of there legacy and relationship with Xavi they get more minutes than players who DESERVE it, Dest, FDJ, Balde.
It’s obvious Dest should’ve started. The overall performance was slow, obviously. Got to be quicker from building it from the back. And front three needs to be more clinical, enough chances were created for it to be 2-0 3-0. Next match we need to put in some goals b/c if not, more clinical teams, Atletico, Real Madrid, Sevilla will punish us.
If xavi continues this king of football style he will end up like koeman. Xavi never trust balde, dest I dont know why

We have overhyped on an 18 year old in the form of Gavi. We should not expect too much on him because he is really young.
